There are three formats for auctions on eBay that most buyers and sellers have never heard of - but account for tens of millions of dollars in annual sales on eBay. Depending on your business, you might want to consider doing business this way, instead of the two more normal formats.
eBay users are accustomed to only two "standard" formats forsales on eBay: either the regular auction which involvesbidding and standing around

But there are three other formats that are less well known.
1. Live Auctions
Before eBay, the traditional auction included live bodies inchairs and an auctioneer up front (talking so fast he wasfrequently unintelligible).
